NKORANZA S: Assembly improves furniture for schools

The Nkoranza South Municipal Assembly has once again demonstrated its commitment to improving challenges confronting the education sector in the municipality with the supply of more desks to schools.

The recent donation is a supply of 265 dual desk to the Municipal Education Directorate for onward distributions to some schools that are facing challenges with furniture.

The MCE, Diana Attaa-Kusiwaa said, the current NPP administration has good plans for the education sector having pledged itself to helping to improve the quality of education across the country.

She said it is for this reason that the municipal assembly decided to intervene to address furniture inadequacy in the schools. The MCE also assured the remaining schools who were not privileged to the earlier distribution that they will eventually get their share this time.

Finally, Mr. Sulley Alhassan, the Municipality Education Director, on his part was grateful for the additional desks from the assembly indicating that the furniture situations in school at the beginning of this term was not good hence this new supply will help reduce the pressure in the beneficiary schools.
