Schools in Ningo-Prampram receive dual desks

The District Chief Executive of Ningo Prampram, Mr. Jonathan Doku has handed over 500 dual desks and chairs to the District Education Directorate for distribution to schools in the district to ease congestion and facilitate effective teaching and learning in the schools.

Mr. Doku in his address during the donation said, it became necessary due to the numerous calls by community members and educational authorities during his tour to communities in his area.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the DCE said the desire of government is to ensure quality education and provide to all children of school going age.

He has therefore tasked managers of the schools to exhibit good maintenance culture and ensure the furniture is used for its intended purpose.

The District Director of Education, Mrs Matilda Amy Quartey commended the Assembly for their constant support to the educational development in the area.
