DCE fetes mothers of Gblenkor Catholic Church

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of North Dayi Mr. Edmund Kudjo Attah has assured some women in his district of eradicating poverty through the introduction of the government’s social intervention programmes.

Mr. Attah on his visit to honour gallant women on the Mother’s day at the Anfoega Gblenkor Catholic Church presented assorted items to the women and an amount of two thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 2,000.00) to the church towards the construction of the church building.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com he said, he chose to celebrate the mother’s day with the women of Gblenkor Catholic church because it is one of the deprived Catholic Churches in the District hence need to be encourage.

The Reverend Minister with the members of the church showed gratitude to the District Chief Executive for his kind gesture and encouraged him to do more.
