ATIWA E: DCE calls for cooperate towards construction of Astroturf

The District Chief Executive for Atiwa East, Nkansah Pannin, has urged the youth of Awosoase to cooperate with the contractor constructing the Astroturf park in the Atiwa East constituency.

According to the DCE astroturf parka are being put up in other places of Ghana and today it is the turn of the Awosoase community.

And urged the youth and elders to assist the contractor to fast track the project, and when it comes to the point of volunteering, the youth should assist the facility to be completed in good time

He made these remarks on Wednesday 15th January 2020, when the MP for the constituency Abena Osei-Asare, led a team to cut the sod for the construction of the Astroturf.

Director of Mah-Astros Ghana Ltd, the company constructing the project, Salifu Sinkare indicated that they would need the assistance of the people of Awosoase community, as the project would benefit them.

A representative of the chief, Asare Addo, expressed the hope that the contractor would be able to deliver ahead of time given him to complete the project.

Members of the community in an interview were happy the project was coming on board for the children to get a place to play football, while others thanked the MP and the DCE for the facility as it would open the community up for economic activities.
