He made these comments when he led a team to tour the three Senior High Schools within Municipality, the motive of the tour was to get first hand information on the implementation status of the double track system of the Free SHS.

The MCE indicated that, it was imperative for beneficiaries of the Free SHS to justify to the world that it is worthwhile for government to invest in its flagship program "Free SHS" by producing quality results at the WASSCE; He assured the schools of government's commitment to retooling the schools in terms of human resources and infrastructure

The Bombaire was generally impressed with the rate at which first year students were reporting to school and settling down for serious classes.

The Municipal Education Director, Madam Theresa Ninnang told the students that, "there are no tricks to success, discipline is the only surest tool to educational success" so they should be discipline and stick to their book and deceit from bad company

Lawra SHS received 1091 students, Birifoh SHS received 296 students and Eremon SHS/T received 640 students under the CSSPS 2018.

The briefings from the Headmasters show that a good number of placed students have reported to school and teaching and learning have already started.

While Lawra SHS and Eremon SHS/T are implementing the double track system, Birifoh SHS is running the single track system.

The MCE were accompanied by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Majeed, and Municipal Director of Education (MDE), Mrs. Theresa Ninnang Song-Aabo, PRO-GES, Hon. Amos Gyetuo and the Communications Office of Lawra NPP.
