Interacting with the first time pupils, Mr Peter Mensah welcomed them to school and urged them to work hard towards accomplishing their parents’ dream of educating them.

He also urged the teaching staff to continue with their dedicated service to God and country adding that government has a lot for them.

He charged them to be good role models to the pupils they teach because that was the only way the District and the country at large could bring up responsible people to take over the realms of leadership in the future.

He said teachers should not only put up responsible behaviour in school but also at their homes since they lived with the pupils in the various communities.

He reminded teachers of an effort initiated by Mr. Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah, deputy minister for regional reintegration and development to award and honor hardworking teachers in both Techiman North and South Districts and hard to be part of the award winners.

He used the occasion to distribute items such as Drawing kits, erasers, pencils, excises books, biscuits, and school bags to the pupils.

On his part, the District Director of Education Mr. Akangare Abiiro Abiakan also used the opportunity to welcomed students especially those entering school for the first time and urged to study hard to become responsible adults in future.
