Madamfo Ghana donates dual desks to Tainso Presby Primary

Madamfo Ghana Foundation, a Germany based non-governmental organization has donated one hundred dual desks and five teachers tables and chairs to Seikwa Tainso Presbyterian primary school in the Tain district of the Brong Ahafo region.

The pupils could not hold their joy when the desks was were presented to them since it’s going to relief them of sitting on the bare classroom floor to write because they don’t have furniture to sit on.

Mr. Micheal Donkor, programmes manager of Madamfo Ghana Foundation said the aim of the foundation is to extend aid to projects in the country and all of their projects are executed in close co-operation with the local people.

Presenting the desks to the District Chief Executive, Mr. Micheal Donkor said the presentation was to help solve the shortage of desks in the school.

He disclosed that the working capital of the Madamfo Ghana Foundation is fundraising. According to Mr. Micheal Donkor, the Foundation receives help from private individuals, companies, co-financing organizations, and service clubs.

The District Chief Executive, Lawyer Charity Akua Foriwaa Dwommoh expressed her gratefulness to the Madamfo Ghana Foundation for their numerous projects the districts and also called on parents to support their wards to compliment the efforts from teachers, government and others donor organizations to improve teaching and learning in the district.

The Assistant Head teacher of the school, Mr. Eric Akumfi Ameyaw came at the right time the school was faced with furniture problems.

He also appealed to authorities to help the school with teachers’ quarters since teachers in the school are currently sleeping in pairs and other logistics to enhance teaching and learning in the school.
