Community Hospitals CEO to receive ‘Osagyefo Award’

Mr Alexander Akwasi Acquah, Chief Executive of The Community Hospitals (TCH) Group and Maks Publications and Media Services, is set to receive an award at the maiden Eastern Star Awards (ESA), scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, September 20, 2018.

The vibrant CEO received the nomination by all the 11 Paramountcies of the Regional House of Chiefs for the ‘Osagyefo Award’, after his enormous contribution in the Health sector.

Mr Akwasi Acquah, through his hard work and dynamism now owns The Community Hospitals in Kukurantumi, Akyem Oda, Somanya, as well as mortuaries in Oda and Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region.

Other branches to his credit include The Community Hospital in Ashongman Estates, Trinity Community Hospital in Ashaiman as well as Kaneshie Medical Centre.

Mr Acquah at this year's 'Back to School' Paediatric fair, organised by the Ashongman Community Hosp.

Eastern Star Awards, according to organizers of the event, seeks to recognize individuals who hail from the region and have over the years contributed extensively on the development of the region and the country as a whole.

The award, they added, is also to motivate indigenes to continue with their good works and also to inspire others to emulate them.

The event which will be held at the Mac-Dic Royal Hotel in Koforidua is on the theme “Contribution of Easterners to Ghana’s development- our people, our brand”.

Meanwhile, President of the Republic, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who is the Special Guest, is also expected to be enstooled the ‘Mputuhene’ (Development Chief) of the people of the Eastern Region.
