He said peace was paramount for the development of the district, thus the need to cooperate and collaborate fully with the MP to safe guard it.

The DCE, who noted this at when speaking at a press conference, further called on the constituents to also collaborate and work together irrespective of their political affiliations to fast track the development of the area.
Mr Bonzo described the MP as a senior brother with loads of experience who served as Minister of Energy and subsequently Petroleum Minister in the previous administration.
He reiterated his desire to cooperate with him, take initiatives together and rally the people around the common vision to drive the district forward.
Mr. Bonzo said the challenges facing the district assembly required an all hands on deck and urged the constituents to commit to the goals and aspirations of their initiative to speed up the development of the district.
Mr. Bonzo said merging the two political parties in the interest of development was a novelty, "it rarely happens, even in the same political party, you have the DCE and the MP struggling to work together but we believe we can cooperate to grow our district".
