GIADEC donate PPEs to Ahafo Ano South West assembly

The Ghana Integrated Aluminium Development Corporation (GIADEC) has presented PPEs to Ahafo Ano South-West District Assembly and it's communities to help fight against the deadly coronavirus.

The items donated include hand washing facilities and storage bin, gallons of liquid soap, thermometer guns, hand gloves, pieces of nose masks and hand sanitizers.

Presenting the items, the leadership of GAIDEC said the gesture is to show their commitment to the vulnerable in the fight against COVID -19.

The District Chief Executive receiving the items indicated that the current COVID-19 situation is a national issue and he is happy that GAIDEC has found it expedient to make the presentation.

He noted that the government is doing the best it can to provide logistics for the Outbreak Response and then called on other stakeholders to support the government.

He added that the donation is timely because the frontline health workers are in need of PPEs.
