SEKYERE C: DCE distributes PPEs to SHSs in the districts

The Sekyere Central District Chief Executive, Kwadwo Banahene Bediako has Presented Personal Protective Equipment (PPE's) to the senior high schools in the district to aid in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

Items including Veronica buckets, washing bowls, liquid soap, tissue, nose mask among others were distributed to help protect students and teachers as school resumes for final year students.

The DCE indicated that the presentation of the items is to augment the government's efforts in protecting final year students as they prepared to write their final exams and urged the leadership of the schools to instill discipline and enforce all accepted protocols aimed at fighting the Pandemic.

Mr. Banahene stated that the District Education Directorate had instructed heads of second cycle schools to put in place adequate measures to contain the spread.

He called on parents and guardians not to visit their wards in their various schools as the students would be well catered for.
