Assembly builds lockable stores in 3-communities
The Birim South District Assembly has undertaken a number of steps to improve economic activities in the area.

One of such measures is the construction of market stores at different communities to ensure people’s wares are secured and it ensure reduction in the stress of always moving goods that come at a cost.

These stores are built in three communities including 10 lockable stores each at Aduasa, and Awisa as well as 16-lockable stores at Swedru.

Speaking with Ghanadistricts.com, the District Chief Executive, Kwame Asare Danso stated that the construction of the market stores will go a long way to improve the market women sell in an excellent and conducive environment thereby promoting socioeconomic development in the District.

He said the construction of the stores would be a regular feature in their developmental agenda to boost trading activities in the various towns in the district.
