Ningo Prampram Education Directorate takes delivery of 180 desks

The District Chief Executive for Ningo Prampram, Jonathan Teye Doku through the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) has donated 180 desks to the Education Directorate following a promise he made in 2017 when he assumed office.

The DCE also revealed that in fulfillment of a promise made after the first phase of the renovation of the Education Office and the promise made to some schools in the district, a contract for the second phase of the renovation is almost ready to provide adequate space for staff in the Education Unit to enhance their work.

He called on other stakeholders to get involved in the provision and development of educational infrastructure by way of their Corporate Social Responsibilities.

Mr. Doku, however, mentioned that plans are underway for more school buildings and the provision of sanitary facilities for schools in the District.

The District Director of Education, Mrs. Sarah Adibrosu expressed her gratitude indicating that the donation came at the right time.

She said the desks will be distributed accordingly and proper maintenance will also be ensured.
