MCE tours religious bodies in Koforidua
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the New Juaben South, Isaac Appaw Gyasi, on Sunday 14th November, 2021 had a fruitful discussion with some churches in the Municipality.

The visit was to help the MCE have an interaction with the churches and mosques on areas such as church registration processes, licensing, and also sensitize members on some of the developmental programmes that currently taking place in the Municipality.

It was also an occasion for the MCE to put across some decisions taken by the Assembly to ensure that law, order and discipline is returned to the Municipality.


The MCE seized the opportunity to thank the church elders and members for given him the platform to explain the measures been put in place to improve the well-being of the Municipality. He indicated that the leadership of His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo is poised to make Ghana a safe place to leave, therefore, “those of us working under him has to ensure that his vision becomes a reality by undertaking legacy projects which will be of remembrance to the future generations”.

He then cautioned traders who sell their wares on pavements, middle of the roads to desist from the act or face the full wrath of the law.


He warned drivers from parking at unauthorized parking spots whiles also calling on residents desist from dumping of refuse into drains and surrounding to avoid being sanctioned.

“I am going to deploy people who will be in charge of the “Operation Clean your Frontage” and this will help make New Juaben South a better place to stay”.

He called on the leaders of the religious bodies to rally behind the Assembly for total development.
