CR Minister pays courtesy call on Chiefs
The Central Regional Minister, Justina Marigold Assan has paid a courtesy call on the Oguaa Traditional Council to seek for the blessings, counsel and support of Nananom been the custodians of the land.

In her speech, the Minister touted the partaking in governance where their opinions will be highly considered.

She gave an assurance of her commitment to make the region great and work diligently to actualize the vision of the President, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to place the region on the right developmental path.

“The President’s promise to build an Airport in Cape Coast will be accomplished.”


The Paramount Chief of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, on behalf of the Traditional Council, expressed their excitement and prayed for her and the entourage and again assured of their support for her administration.

According to him, they will continue to cooperate to develop the region in divers ways.


As tradition demands, the Minister was honored with a beautiful traditional necklace and Plague to symbolize their acceptance, remembrance and recognition of her as their daughter.

In attendance were Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in Central Region, Staff of the Regional Coordinating Council, Regional Police and Fire Service Commanders, Regional NADMO Boss, Regional Secretary of NPP and other key stakeholders.
