MP donates items in aid of coronavirus fight.
The Deputy Upper East Regional Minister, and Member of Parliament for Zebilla Constituency, Frank Fusieni Adongo has made a donation of items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to The Bawku West District Health Directorate to help fight the coronavirus pandemic.

His gesture follows the cry from health professionals and security personnel at Bawku West district over lack of logistics to help fight the deadly coronavirus,

The District Chief Executive for the area, Madam Victoria Ayamba, who made the presentation on behalf of the MP said the donation was part of the MP’s contribution to fight against the virus in the constituency and also protect the frontline workers.

She further commended the health professionals and the security agencies in the district for protecting the lives of the people in the area.

The items given out included 22 infrared thermometers, 37 boxes of facemask, six gallons alcohol-based hand sanitizer, 60 veronica buckets with stands, liquid soaps, and fuel to transport the items to the various health facilities.

The district health director, Lawal Alhassan who received the items thank them for their benevolent support.
