Asokwa Assembly sensitizes the public on COVID-19 Protocols

The Asokwa Municipal National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service has embarked on sensitization and educational campaign on Covid-19 pandemic.

The traders of Atonsu-Agogo, Monaco, and Mandela market were taken through the proper way of wearing the nose mask, applying hand sanitizers, and the need to keep the markets clean.

The team also educated the pedestrians and other road users along the routes in Asokwa.

Mr. Eric Akosah, the Municipal NADMO director and leader of the team called on the public to take personal precautions in their homes and places of work to prevent them from contracting the Covid-19 disease.

He thanked the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asokwa Mr. Akwannuasa Gyimah for facilitating the education and also commended the team for displaying passion and commitment in carrying out the exercise and noted that more of such would be coming so as to curb the viral disease.
