North Dayi holds inter-schools sports and athletic competition

The North Dayi district of the Volta Region held its inter circuit games starting from Wednesday, 27th and ended it successfully on Friday, 29th March 2019@ VASEC.

During the opening ceremony, District Chief Executive for North Dayi district presented two trophies and balls to the organizing committee to be presented to deserving teams at the end of the competition.

During the presentation, he entreated teachers to harness the potential of the young boys and girls that participated.

He pledge to assist them financially during the inter district sports competition which is to be held at the same venue in the coming months.

The DCE pledge to support financially as he did the previous year and it was against these backdrop, that he charged a six member sports committee to collaborate with Soccer connect in developing and promoting sports in the area.

At end of the competition, Vakpo Circuit emerged overall best performing circuit. They won the under 15 boys soccer, place 2nd to Wusuta circuit in the under 13 soccer for boys.
