North Tongu: Minister, DCE tour project sites

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for North Tongu, Mr. Richard Collins Arku together with the Volta Regional Minister, Mr. Yao Letsa has embarked on tour of the district to inspect some ongoing projects at Aveyime-Battor, a community in the district.

Project sites visited include the construction of a District Court, Office Complex for the National Ambulance Service and a three separate 2-Bedroom Semi-Detached Staff Bungalows, all in the community.

The three projects were funded through the Assembly’s share of the Common Fund, Community Development Fund and District Development Facility respectively.

The projects are part of a number of building projects carried out across the North Tongu District by the District Assembly.

The DCE, however, indicated in his brief address that the projects would soon be commissioned and handed over for use.

He noted that plans are far advance to complete all ongoing projects in the district to serve their intended purpose and further improve the quality of lives.
