ASUOGYAMAN: ‘Adjena’ water project commences
The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Asuogyaman, Samuel Kwame Agyekum has called on the Chiefs and people of Adjena, a community in the district, to eschew partisanship but rather work in unity in order to foster development of the community.

The DCE gave the advice during a sod cutting ceremony to pave way for work to commence on a new water extension facility project in the area. The project is in partnership with Safe Water Network (SWN), an international nonprofit organization.

Speaking at the event, the DCE indicated that water is a necessity for human survival hence; his passion and vision to ensure that potable water is extended to every part of district.


He expressed optimism that various water projects initiated would go a long way to sustainable potable water supply to residents in the communities, adding that the collaboration with Safe Water Network will help develop the community rapidly if the people unite and move with cohesion.

He was hopeful that facility will help by ending the stress residents in the community go through in search for potable water for drinking and other domestic use.
