The temporary public toilet which was built by residents to serve the community has been left to rot without any maintenance.

Mr. Boateng explained that open defecation has become a common practice because the only toilet facility is a death trap. ”It's dangerous to use it, somebody nearly fell in yesterday if not for the assistance of some guys who saw him and rushed to save him. The youth came to my house and complained bitterly for construction of a new toilet or renovate it”, he said.

He therefore appealed to the general public, NGO’S and other stakeholders to help overcome the situation.
