The inspection which started from the Sakumono Estate Junction through to the Sakumono Village stretch and finally ended up at the junction mall interchange, saw the presence of the Chief Director of the Ministry, the Roads Engineer, the Director of Urban Roads and many more.

Addressing the media the MP for the area stated that he cannot talk about the projects without acknowledging the President Akuffo Addo's Government for the plans and efforts to work on roads nationwide and also commended the sector Minister for working hard to achieve the President's vision.

Mr. Ahenkorah brought to the attention of the Minister, the Adjei Kojo part of Lashibi and Klagon deplorable roads. He stated that the 11.4 kilometer road awarded by the Ministry to develop the Adjei Kojo Township has come to a standstill for almost 6 months and therefore pleaded that the Minister should come to his aid since the construction of the road would alleviate the suffering endured by motorist and commuters on that segment.

The Road Minister pledged his commitment and gave an assurance that the contractor will come to site and instructed the appropriate quarters to make sure the project is tackled within a few weeks, since good roads enhance economic activities.
