New male ward at Issa health center nears completion
The construction of a new Male Medical Ward at the Issa Health Center in the Daffiama/Bussie/Issa District of the Upper West region is nearing completion.

The project, which is currently at the roofing level and is expected to complete soon to help meet the health needs of the community and its surrounding environs.
Mr Nadi Imoro Sanda, District Chief Executive (DCE) in an interview noted that the project is geared towards the agenda of transforming the Health Center (Issa) to a District Hospital status by early next year.
He noted that the facility has 15 patient beds capacity, an office space as well changing rooms for nurses and latrines.
The Construction is at roofing level and is expected to complete soon and is being funded through the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF).
