ASENE M A: DCE, inaugurates four classroom blocks
The Asene – Manso – Akroso Assembly has inaugurated four separate classroom blocks for four schools in the district as part of efforts to improve educational infrastructure.

These projects include
• Six-unit classroom block for Akim Eshiem AME Zion,
• Six-unit classroom block for Akim Manso R/C Primary;
• Three-unit classroom block for Akim Akroso D/A Junior High School, and
• Three- unit classroom block for Akim Asene Islamic to replace an old structure.

All the projects come with ancillary facilities like library, computer laboratory, staff common room, head teacher’s office, store room, and toilet facilities.



Mr. Alex Inkoom, the District Chief Executive who commissioned the four projects, was accompanied by the Member of Parliament, George Kwame Aboagye, said the provision of the educational infrastructure was critical to quality education.



Mr. Yaw Aheampong the District Education Director said they would continue to provide standard infrastructure and logistics to schools in the District to ensure enabling environment for effective academic work.



Mr. George Kwame Aboagye, the MP, entreated the management of the school and the communities to own the buildings and protect them to prolong their lifespan.



The Eastern Regional Minister, Eric Kwakye Daffour applauded the DCE and the MP for spearheading the project which he described as a timely intervention.
