Krowor MCE donates 100 bags of cement for face-lifting of drains

The Municipal Chief Executive of Krowor Assembly, Joshua NiiBortey has presented 100 bags of cement to Wor - Konor Nuumo Borketey LarwehTsuru XXX111, Gborbu Wolomo & Shitse of the Ga- Dangbe State in a short,colorful and historic ceremony at Nungua Ablorkor Djaanor.

The donation which was made last Friday, May 13, 2022 is in support of Nuumo Gborbu Wolomo in the face lifting of the drains at Nungua Akpeeishika in the Sokpoti Electoral Area.

Receiving the items, the Wor- Konor pleaded with the assembly to mobilize twenty tricycles for the youth to move from door to door for refuse collection.

He noted that human activities are largely responsible for the choked gutters,as such he reminded the people to be responsible in the way they dispose of their wastes, urging them to avoid turning the drains into refuse dumps.

He again called for the establishment of a sanitation court to foster cleanliness in the municipality. The MCE gave the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring the area gets the needed development and called for the support of all and sundry.
