ACHIASE: DCE, MP interact with inhabitants

Mr. Richmond Amponsah, the District Chief Executive for Achiase District and Mr. Ahenkorah Marfo, the Member of Parliament for the Achiase Constituency have engaged the people of Anyinam on government policies and local development projects in the District.

According to the District Chief Executive, the Assembly has a ten year development plan that would cater for most of their requests sooner or later and asked them to be patient for their time.

He regretted the inadequate chairs for school pupils in the district and assured that the MP had acquired enough chairs to manage the situation.

He also lauded the peace in the district and promised to defend and protect it at all times.

The MP, Mr. Ahenkorah Marfo promised to mechanize two of the three boreholes the community had dug; and hinted of a comprehensive youth policy plan for the constituency to be unveiled in the first quarter of the year to help the youth.

The Chief of Anyinam and his people were convinced that the engagement with the public officials would yield the needed benefits to their community and thanked them for the meeting.

The Assembly Members were excited about the meeting as it enhanced grassroots participation in governance and democracy of the nation.
