Kwadaso Municipal Assembly inaugurates 30-member Sanitation Committee
The Kwadaso Municipal Assembly has inaugurated a 30-member Sanitation Standard Implementation Committee to help curb insanitary conditions in the municipality.

The committee according to the Municipal Chief Executive, Agyenim Boateng Richmond was to ensure the compliance of the assembly’s by-laws on sanitation on the part of residents.

The MCE said although the general sanitation in the municipality was good, other areas were in crisis hence the need to rekindle efforts of all health officers in the municipality to take serious steps to implement to the latter the Assembly bye-laws.

Giving the guidelines of the committee, Mr. Agyenim Boateng said the first two months of their work will be educating the masses on the need to keep their areas clean.

He, however, echoed that, the committee after two months of their education mandate will start to implement the assembly’s bye-laws on offenders who will flout sanitation laws.



Addressing a stakeholders’ breakfast meeting on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at Achemfour Top Hotel in the Kwadaso Municipality, the MCE explained that the assembly will work assiduously to keep the municipality clean.

Hon Agyenim Boateng again said President Akuffo Addo has charged all MMDCEs to put in place pragmatic measures to keep their districts clean.
