MASLOC CEO engages Koforidua central market women
The New Juaben South Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Isaac Appaw-Gyasi, together with the Chief Executive Officer for Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah, has paid a visit to the market women at the Koforidua Central Market to sensitize them about the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) loan.

The Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) Chief Executive Officer, Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah, urged the traders who have already taken the loan to repay the loans after the stipulated one year time to enable them receive more to grow their businesses.

She underscored the important role of the traders in the country’s economy and asked them to return for more loans if they do due diligence.



‘’You market women hold the economy for us. No matter what business we have, without market women, Ghana cannot go forward” She admitted.

The MASLOC Chief Executive Officer, reiterated the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana-Akufo Addo’s commitment to support entrepreneurship particularly market women, saying there is the need for them as the market women to keep their records properly to enable them access more loans when needed.


On his part, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the New Juaben South, Mr Isaac Appaw-Gyasi commended the government and MASLOC for supporting market women within the Municipality.

He said this facility will go a long way to improve their businesses and later put food on their tables.

Mr. Appaw-Gyasi further cautioned the market women to as a matter of urgency repay all loans taken to enable them access more to boost their business.



Speaking on behalf of the market women, Nana Yaa, applauded the government for the kind support to market women. She reiterated their commitment to repay all loans in due time.
