AAK: Central Regional Minister commissions 3 projects at Amosima
The good people of Amosima community located in Abura Asebu Kwamankese (AAK) District in the Central Region, experienced a new phase of community development, when a well-furnished hybrid library with books and computers was commissioned for them.

The Central Regional Minister, Justina Marigold Assan who commissioned the facility also did same for a Water Extension Project, and 8-seater modern toilet facility.

Nana Amoa VIII who could not hide his joy expressed the community's profound gratitude to the Akufo-Addo led administration and all relevant stakeholders who contributed immensely in diverse ways towards the execution of the projects.



He lauded the GLA for furnishing the library with relevant books and staffing the library with professional experienced personnel as well as GIFEC for the provision of computers.

The Executive Director of GLA, Mr Hayford Siaw in his address, indicated that it is the ultimate goal of government to provide quality education and equip the younger generation with the requisite skills and knowledge.

He also promised that the library will be connected to the internet as well as ensure regular maintenance of the facility.



The CEO of CODA, Mr Jerry Ahmed Shaib said that the library was constructed by his outfit as part of efforts to spread development across the country.

The Regional Minister urged the community folks to give education the utmost attention as it is the tool to help eradicate poverty, liberate the community and set them on the right path of development.



She also gave her heartfelt appreciation to CODA, GLA and GIFEC for the project and implored them to do more for Central Region.
