According to the DCE, major infrastructures like roads, toilet facilities, school buildings, bore holes and abandoned projects by the previous administration need to be executed as a matter of urgency to address the challenges facing the District.

It is in view of this that he recommended the establishment of a Business Advisory Committee to help raise funds since the Assembly can’t rely on Common Fund and the Internally Generated Fund (IGF) because it is inadequate.

Mr. Acheamfour noted that the Assembly is infant and the common fund provided by the government is woefully inadequate not to mention the IGF.

He Added that a committee comprising Nkwantakesehene, Nana Boakye Yam, Mr. Kan Dapaa, the National Security Minister and Yaw Boadu Ayeboafo of Graphic Groups of Communications will soon be set up to raise funds to help develop the District.
