Nkwanta North: president visits Kpassa

The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo has visited the Nkwanta North District with in the Oti Region as part of the six days tour to the newly created Oti, North East, and savanna Regions respectively.

On his visit to Kpassa, the district capital for Nkwanta North Assembly, the president cuts sod for the construction of Kpassa-Mama Akura roads and further interacted with tutors and students of Nkwanta Senior High School.

At the grand durbar, the president said he will be conducting an inspection on the progress of work on Nkwanta – Dambai road, as well as visit the proposed site for Regional Coordinating Council at Dambai the regional capital.

Nana Akufo Addo further met the chiefs and people from Nkwanta North and South at a durbar in Nkwanta where he pledged government commitment to ensuring smooth and accelerated development of the new region.
