Dormaa MCE visits border areas

In the wake of the outbreak of the Covid- 19 pandemic across the globe, the Dormaa Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Drissa Quattara together with Public Health Emergency Committee paid an unannounced visit to all official and unofficial borders in the Dormaa Municipality.

The purpose of the visit was to ascertain whether the directives from the president to extend the closure of the borders till July ending was been enforced especially at the unapproved routes and how such routes are been managed by the security enforcement agencies.

The unannounced visit took the MCE and his team of officers to Agyemangkrom, Badukrom, Gonokrom, Yaakrom, Sokura Ghana, Yawkrom, kookumikrom, Sikwakrom as well as all the unapproved routes in and around the municipality.

Mr. Quattara urged the officers in charge of the borders not to relent on their oars.
