GNGC hands over new teachers’ quarters to sekruwa basic school

Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC) has handed over new 10-bedroom teacher’s quarters to Sekruwa Basic School in Mampong Municipality.

The move, according to the company, forms part of its corporate responsibility within its priority sectors.

Mr. Anyima Nwiah, Deputy Project Manager at GNGC explained that the company is committed to help improve the educational infrastructural base of deprived communities in Ghana and urged other corporate bodies to emulate the gesture.

He said the company is for Ghanaians and therefore had decided to extend its developmental agenda to education, health, sports and many other sectors.

Nana Ansah Ababio, a GNGC board member, commended the contractors for the good work done and urged the beneficiaries to cultivate good maintenance culture in order to ensure the project's longevity.

The Municipal Chief Executive for Asante Mampong, Mr. Thomas Appiah Kobi, thanked GNGC for its development role in the municipality and Ghana as a whole.
