Achiase District inaugurates new Fire Committee
The Achiase District in the Eastern Region has inaugurated a new Fire Committee to help plan, organize and conduct fire safety programmes in the area.

The Achiase District in the Eastern Region has inaugurated a new Fire Committee to help plan, organize and conduct fire safety programmes in the area.
District Chief Executive of the area, Mr. Richmond Kofi Amponsah who doubles as chairman of the committee led members through the oaths of Office and Secrecy.
He charged the committee to properly access before issuing fire Certificates owners of new buildings to help control fire outbreaks in the area
He also reminded them of their duty to carry out fire evaluation assessments in the district and report to the Regional Fire Committee.
The District Coordinating Director and Secretary to the committee also appealed for the needed resources from the assembly to enable the committee deliver on its mandate.
