2,440 candidates writes 2022 BECE in New Juaben South Municipal
A number of Candidates across the country begins their 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination today, Monday, October 17.

In view of this, the Municipal Chief Executive for New Juaben South, Isaac Appaw-Gyasi with his team on this special occasion, paid a working visit to the various Examination centers to inspect the readiness of the candidates under his jurisdiction and also, motivate them for the exams.

The Municipality recorded Two thousand four hundred and forty (2,440) candidates, which are made up of One thousand one hundred and thirty-nine (1,139) males and One thousand three hundred and one (1,301) females.

In all, seventy-seven (77) schools presented their candidates for the exams which comprise of; forty-nine (49) Public schools and twenty-eight (28) Private schools respectively at four (4) different Examination centers within the municipality.



The Public schools presented One thousand eight hundred and thirty-five (1,835) candidates which include eight hundred and seventy-one (871) males and nine hundred and sixty-four (964) females, on the part, the Private schools recorded Six hundred and five candidates, made up of Two hundred and sixty eight (268) males and Three hundred and thirty-seven (337) females.

Mr. Haruna Ibrahim, the Municipal Education Director did encourage the candidates to provide their possible best by carefully reading the questions well before answering.

He continued to share a hope by saying, he believes in them and knows they will surely pass and pass well.



The MCE reiterated by urging the candidates to desist from the act of panicking but rather concentrating on the exams.

“His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is in full support for you to pass your exams, and therefore you must brighten the corner where you find yourself and make Mother Ghana proud and again desist from exams malpractice” He said.
