We will intensify revenue mobilisation to steer development – Ajumako DCE
The District Chief Executive of Ajumako Enyan-Essiam, Ransford Kwesi Nyarko, has assured his people that he will embark on aggressive mobilization of internal generated funds (IGF} to aid development.

He said the assembly will leave no stone unturned in its renewed drive to shore up revenue, which had been negatively hit by the COVID-19 pandemic since 2020 to drive the district development.

“In the absence of every sustainable inflows of IGF, then your main source of funding becomes difficult. We are hoping to expand other areas that we have not been doing well in terms of in terms of property rates” he said.

He further said they will focus on temporary structures like containers and kiosks and all qualified businesses.

Speaking on some success chalked under his leadership within the last four years, the DCE mentioned that the assembly commissioned a 400 bed girls dormitory for Bisease Senior High School to improve the huge deficit they have in the students accommodation, and a six unit classroom block for Abaase Senior High Technical School so that it helps minimize studying under trees.
