RCC conducts performance contract assessment in Denkyembour

A team from the Eastern Regional Coordinating Council undertook an assessment on the Performance Contract of the Denkyembour District Assembly.

The performance contract is a key mechanism in the implementation of the Performance Management System as it enables employees and the service to agree to and be committed to the achievement of set objectives and targets in the service delivery within a given timeframe.

The agreement which was agreed on 22nd February 2021 and encompasses the entire 2021 comprises key performance areas such as General Administration, Human Resources Management, Financial Management and Reporting, Infrastructure, Social Services, Economic Development and Environment and Sanitation.

After the entire assessment, the team engaged management and staff of the assembly in an exit conference. They applauded the assembly for performing exceptionally well in the assessment scoring 91.75% and being the district to attain the highest score so far in the assessment for the region.

They however stated that a detailed report would be sent to the assembly in order to spell out the flaws of the assembly during the assessment.

The District Coordinating Director; Alhaji Shamrock Abdulai Gafaru, expressed his gratitude to the assessment team and to all staff for bringing out such a very good performance.

He informed the team that he will convey the assessment results to the District Chief Executive when he returns from an equally important assignment. He wished them well in their future endeavours.
