The DCE also performed a similar ceremony for work to kick start on a new community health planning and services (CPHS) Compound facility for New Ejuampong, another community in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region.
Speaking at both ceremonies, the DCE said the projects, when completed, will help boost education and health in the areas.
According to him, the school block will come with various ancillary facilities such as staff common rooms, offices and stores and forms part of the projects earmarked for this year to ensure quality education in the District.
He added that the CHPS compound would serve several communities and would be fully equipped with medical beds and logistics coupled with social amenities.
He therefore urged the beneficiary communities to collaborate with the contractors.
Present at the sod cutting ceremonies were chiefs and opinion leaders, the District Education Director and staff, Presiding Member, Assembly members, Heads of Department of the Assembly and others
