Ahotokrom market set to commence

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Sekyere East Mr. Osei Adiyiah together with some relevant stakeholders has inspected a site earmarked for the construction of a new market at Ahotokrom, to help enhance trading activities in the area.

The new market project will include the construction of 20 new sheds and other ancillary facilities.

Speaking in an interview with the media, the DCE promised to ensure that the ultra-modern edifice is completed in three months, adding that the ordeals of the market women will be a thing of the past when the new market is completed.

Mr. Adiyiah added that the District would witness massive transformation in all facets of the national economy with a call on all stakeholders to support the current government.

He therefore appealed to the people to rally behind the Assembly to enable it implement its developmental projects and programmes and help better the lives of the people.
