The District Assembly has met with the riders of Rickshaw popularly known as “pragia” and Sankofa operators operating within the district especially in the district capital, Hwidiem

. They were told to be committed to the Assembly by registering with the Assembly and paying their operational fees to the assembly.

In the meeting, they were also advised to form associations to bring them together. This will also help them to channel their grievances to the appropriate authorities when the need arises.
