The MCE, who was speaking at a homecoming program organized by the Ahwiren Traditional Council, appealed to the youth to eschew the erroneous misconception regarding TVET as the preserve of the academically weak students; instead they should support and allow all children to pursue their dreams.

The MCE touched on the essence of having a dream as a leader and assured to implement TVET in the only Technical Senior High in Ahwiren.

Nana Osei Boateng Agyenim I, the chief of the area, also revealed several initiatives he intends to implement in the area.

He disclosed plans to partner with KNUST to build the Ahwiren Agribusiness Center to create employment for the youth.

He expressed his displeasure of the community not having a hospital and appealed to the Member of Parliament and MCE to help construct a hospital to cater for the health needs of the people.
