MCE visits Ofoase Senior High Technical School

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asante Akim South Mr. Alexander Frimpong with his team has visited Ofoase Senior High Technical School to inspect ongoing projects and prepare temporal accommodation due to high increase in student’s enrollment after a call made by the administration of the school

The MCE In a consultation with the leadership of the school agreed to quickly prepare a place at the ongoing girl’s dormitory project which is about 90% complete.

Though the project is yet to be completed, the MCE directed the contractor to immediately prepare some rooms for the students to use whilst they work to ensure the full completion of the project.

The team also toured the boundaries of the school to have first-hand information on the school land when they were briefed of land encroachment.

Mr. Frimpong then cautioned encroachers to desist from the illegal act because the Assembly and the Traditional Authorities will not allow such to continue adding that together with the chiefs and the Unit Committee of Ofoase, they will soon meet and decide the next line of action on the encroachers.
