MCE commissions 3-unit classroom block
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ejisu, Mr. Samuel Oduro Frimpong, has commissioned an ultra-modern 3-unit KG classroom block and a borehole for Kyerekrom R/C Primary School.

The well-furnished classroom block has offices, store room, canteen, teacher’s washroom and one washroom.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the MCE urged the school pupils to take advantage of the government’s educational initiatives to help build a great future and career for the community and the country and also donated 1,000gh to support a fundraising event on the day to grace the occasion.

Mr. Frimpong, therefore, called on the school management committee and all stakeholders to develop good maintenance culture to help the project to have a longer life span.

He also promised that the Assembly will continue to construct more of such projects to help eradicate schools under trees and enhance quality teaching and learning.

The Municipal Director of Education, Mr. Pius Kwabena Owusu, thanked the MCE for his enormous support and seized the opportunity to ask for more classrooms and teaching materials for various schools in the area.

The chief of Kyerekrom, Nana Kwaku Kyere ll, also thanked the MCE for his swift support to help foster quality education in the area.
