Japan Embassy to help build clinic for Adjei Kojo

The Japan Embassy is to help build a clinic for the people of Adjei Kojo in the Tema West Municipality in the Greater Accra Region.

The Municipal Chief Executive for Tema West Anna Adukwei Addo speaking on efforts being made to improve access to health infrastructure in the municipality said though the Municipality is working on settling all bottlenecks to ensure the commence the Municipal Hospital Project under the Agenda 111 programme, has identified Adjei Kojo as one of the areas that needs special attention.

According to her, residents at Adjei Kojo have to move all the way to Community 2 and Tema General Hospital to access health delivery which she finds a bit difficult.

It is that ordeal that made her approach the Japan Embassy and they have agreed to put up a clinic for the community.

The MCE said the necessary documents have been worked on and they are almost there to start the construction so that the people of Adjei Kojo would have the benefit of a health facility in their locality for easy access.
