DCE donates mathematical sets to all BECE Candidates in Banda

The District Chief Executive for Banda in the Bono region, has donated 513 mathematical sets to all Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in his district.

"The equipment will assist the BECE candidates as they come face to face with their final exams starting Monday, 17th October", he stated.

Speaking after the presentation, the DCE indicated that, last year the district performed well in the BECE Examination and so he is making this gesture to motivate and encourage them to be successful. He continued to inspire them to believe in themselves.

He also cautioned candidates to avoid any examination malpractices to prevent cancellation of their examination since their future depends on it. The DCE however entreated guardians to provide the necessary materials to their wards for best performance in examinations.

Receiving the items on behalf of the District Director of Education and the exam coordinator, Mr. Samuel Jatong Laar described the kind gesture as timely, adding that his continuous support towards quality education in the district will help to improve candidate’s performance.

“I’m very confident that the learning equipment will assist them to write and pass the examination,” he said.The candidates also expressed their profound gratitude for the kind gesture and urged them to make proper use of the items.
