The Kpandai District Assembly is to set up an award scheme for
students who will excel in their academic work in the district.

The award scheme which will be for all levels of education; basic and  secondary, is aimed at motivating students to take their studies more seriously thereby improving the educational standard in the district.

The Kpandai District Chief Executive Hon. Jatoh Jaspar Moayi who disclosed this to Ghanadistricts.com in an interview indicated that the assembly has also resolved to sponsor brilliant but needy students to continue their education.

He mentioned also that extra classes are being organised for students to augment for the lapses in teaching and learning in the various schools.
