KINTAMPO N: Kadelso community gets 6-unit classroom, mosque
The Kintampo Municipal Assembly has commissioned a six (6) unit Classroom block and a Mosque at Kadelso, a community in the Kintampo North Municipality.

The projects were funded by a German based Philanthropic Company, Kleingeld Aktion.

Mr. Shawky Abduel Wahab, the Director of the project, said the two facilities forms part of projects that have been earmarked by the company to be executed in some selected deprived communities across the country.

He said schools and mosque are their main philanthropic work but further added that the company will be putting up a new hospital in addition to these projects for the people of Kadelso in the future to help promote quality healthcare.


The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Kintampo North, Isaac Baffoe-Ameyaw who spoke to the media after a short event, expressed his joy for the company’s kind gesture to the people of Kadelso and Kintampo at large.

He insisted that the project has come at the right time to complement President Akufo-Addo’s Policy of ensuring that all children school in decent and befitting facilities to promote and enhance effective teaching and learning.

He urged the school pupils to make good use of the facility in order to excel in their education.


He then appeal to the chiefs and the entire community to take proper care of the facility to prolong its life span.
The Municipal Director for Education Mr. Sylvester Opoku promised to post teachers to the school and he thanked the donors for their support.

The Member of Parliament for Kintampo North Mr. Josphe Kwame Kumah was also very grateful for their support to the Municipality and asked for more especially a Junior High School to support the primary school been build.

And added that “every thinker of Education is a Developer” “which means anybody who think of education of his people is a developer of a country” he explain.
