Sekyere Central to get Astro turf

As Part of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation’s core objects towards providing sports infrastructure, the leadership of GNPC accompanied by the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere Central Mr. Kwadjo Banahene has handed to Nananom an architectural drawing of an AstroTurf earmarked for construction at the Kwamang Presbyterian school park.

The drawing was received by the Omanhene of Kwamang Traditional Council, Barima Britum Okyere Bediako and he subsequently handed both the drawing and the site over to the contractor.

The AstroTurf which is being financed by GNPC is expected to be completed in six months from the time of commencement.

Mr. Kwadjo Banahene in his address indicated that the pitch when completed will go a long way to unravel hidden talents in the District and will serve as a playing field for the entire community and its environs.
