North Dayi DCE visits Zanukope
District Chief Executive of the North Dayi District in the Volta Region, Kudjo Edmund Attah paid a working visit to Zanukope to access the economic viability of the area in order to construct a road to link the area to Tsrukpe and its environs to boost the economic activities.

Again, the project will save lives of pregnant women and the entire community since access to community healthcare has been a major challenge for them.

In the DCE’s address to the Chief and the entire community, he promised to rehabilitate the basic school in order to improve the standard of education at the place. He also promised to assess the possibility of borehole for the community to address issues with potable water. Again, he spoke about the expansion of electricity to the community.

The DCE advised the people of Zanukope to take advantage of government flagship program, “Planting For Food And Jobs”; explaining that the government is supporting farmers with inputs such as fertilizer, access to extension officers and improved seedlings.

He urged the people to always hold politicians accountable for promises they make during election period.



He also highlighted some successes chalked by the NPP Government some of which includes the implementation of the free SHS, restoration of teachers and nursing trainee allowances, planting for food and jobs and planting for export and rural development.

The Chief and people of Zanukope were very excited about the pronouncement of the access road, rehabilitation of the school block, extension of electricity and pledged to support with labour to help with the project.
