DCE Present Cassava Processig Machine to women in komfieku and Shama
The District Chief Executive on behalf of government has presented a full set cassava processing machine and Soap making machine to the women of Komfueku and Shama towns respectively.

On the 30th October, 2020, the DCE was accompanied by the director at the district Business Advisory Centre to do this presentation.

The business advisory center received another round of machinery from the government for the people of Shama District to enable them add value to their farm produce (cassava) and also to help strengthen entrepreneurship in the district.

Though bakery and confirmer machine and others have already been received by the assembly through BAC, again the people of Shama will have another reason to appreciate government through the DCE for this development they have seen in their lives.

This is a central government funded program through the RURAL ENTERPRISE PROJECTS which seeks to equally empower our rural communities, add value to our agricultural produce and encourage entrepreneurship among the people of our various districts.

On the occasion of the presentation, the DCE expressed gratitude to the Nana Akufo Addo led government through the BAC for answering the call of people of Shama.

DCE urged the beneficiaries and operators to exercise a more cautious and proper management habit in the usage of the machines.

Hon. Joseph Amoah further stated that, the president of Ghana and his government have women at heart and will continue to cause development in the lives of our women. He further assured the good people of Shama to keep on supporting government and also to exercise their voting franchise peacefully in the upcoming elections to favor Nana Akufo Addo, His Excellency to continue the good works he is doing for Ghana.

The assembly member for Komfueku electoral area, Hon, Percy Ahenakwah and the leader of the women groups, madam Mercy received the machines and expressed their utmost appreciation and satisfaction to the DCE and the government.
